[GA] A father's son

This is giftart to ~blackiewonda, a friend of mine at a warriors RP site i love called Silverblood. <: These are her two characters, Treasurestar and Gingerkit.

A little background yes. Treasurestar is the leader of Waterclan, and is going to be dying in the distant future. Gingerkit is his and Twintail's son. This is them after Treasurestar dies, as he continues to watch over his son.

I'm quite proud of this picture actually. I used a tutorial to do the grass and the river, which I will have a link for at the bottom~ c:

I used a reference for Gingerkit, but I completely freehanded Treasurestar. And I have to say I am really proud of it ;;v;; I know the anatomy is a bit wonky and the body is too big but i still love it eitherway =v=
I tried to make Treasurestar look like a spirit, which I still need practice with, but I rather like it. I also stuck in a water texture because he IS the leader of Waterclan, so I figured WHY NOT.

And, I should just point this out. Treasurestar is not that big. I wanted a guardian sort of feeling to the picture so I made him bigger than he actually is. [_{For those of you who know Warriors, Gingerkit could be considered actual size if he was really young. But in the time frame that this would actually occur, Gingerkit would actually be Gingerpaw, and would be much larger.}]

I still have a lot to learn but I am still very proud of this. <: Also, as for Treasurestar's feet, the reason they aren't in the grass is because he's a spirit, the grass would technically go right through him. It seems like a bad reason but thats what I thought and I'll probably laugh at myself for it later lololololol

Anyway, I hope you like it Blackie! ;V; I had fun with this~ And thanks for choosing Twintail to be Treasurestar's mate way back when, I dont know where she'd be at if she wasn't his mate <3
